Fortnite Superstar Ceice Joins Outlaws Entertainment as First Creative Athlete

Glytch locks in as a presenting partner for Outlaws Entertainment in its quest to alter Gen Z entertainment experiences

HOUSTON, TX (December 14, 2023) – Outlaws Entertainment has welcomed Davis “
Ceice” McClellan, the third-best Fortnite player in the world, as its first creative athlete. The company sees Ceice as a Triple Threat - those with on-camera, on-stream, and on-court talent who possess the highly coveted X-Factor to connect with an engaged Gen Z audience. Ceice will begin his Outlaws chapter this weekend competing during DreamHack Atlanta where he hopes to improve on his top 20 finishes at DreamHack Summer in Europe and DreamHack Dallas this year.

“The Outlaws represent one of the most respected brands in esports and gaming in terms of its commitment to winning and entertaining its fans, so I am pretty stoked to join this organization and carry that tradition forward,” said Ceice. “Winning is always my goal, but it’s also sharing my journey with my fans through the highs and lows. It’s time to get to work.”

After getting a taste for gaming with Minecraft and CS:GO, Ceice made the move to Fortnite when he graduated from high school and has never looked back. He earned more than $1.4 million in prize money over the past four years and has amassed more than 1 million social media followers. Based in Texas, he continues to be a powerhouse in content and the competitive scene.

"We are excited to introduce our first competitive player under the newly imagined Outlaws Entertainment umbrella. Our ability to forge into new gaming communities, like Fortnite, represents our future as the convergence of competitive gaming and content creation continues to merge,” said Lori Burgess, CEO of Outlaws Entertainment. “Ceice represents the future of esports and gaming with his triple threat of talent, and we plan to give him all the resources necessary to win it all this season and compete at the highest level.”

Glytch, the future of entertainment destinations, will join Outlaws Entertainment as its presenting partner to continue to build awareness and buzz for its plans to build 32 performance-based stadiums/entertainment destinations across the U.S. and Canada to serve as homes for esports and entertainment events. In addition to the Glytch jersey patch on Outlaws jerseys, the two organizations will collaborate on original content with Ceice and its talent roster, including Carlos Ivan, Tori, Majin, and SoDaisy.

“We love the Outlaws and support their reinvention as Outlaws Entertainment on every level,” said Michael Williams, Chief Visionary Officer for Glytch. “We are excited to work with Lori and the team to create a connected performance-based venue for fans of the Outlaws to watch their favorite team in real-time while enjoying world-class food and beverage, location-based entertainment, and a broadcast studio to produce their content. It’s our triple threat to bring the right solution to the future growth of esports.”

Outlaws Entertainment rebranded itself formerly known as Beasley Media Group, home to the Overwatch League’s Houston Outlaws and Rocket League’s Team AXLE.
